The video below is of a June 4, 2018 performance of Tempore nobis in a concert presented by the Encuentro Internacional de Clarinete Bajo y Saxofón, que organiza la Fundación Universitaria de Popayán -FUP (International Encounter of Clarinet Bass and Saxophone, organized by the University Foundation of Popayán -FUP- ) in Popayán, Colombia, on 5:00 p.m., June 4, Iglesia de San Jose, Popayán, Colombia.
Tempore nobis was composed for premiere at the XVI Curso Internacional de Clarinete - "Julián Menéndez" - 2011 at the Universidad de Salamanca, Ávila, Spain, performed by Clarinetes Bajos, which includes: Luis Gomes (Portugal), Lucas Cavelius (Germany), Sergio Fernández Diez-Picazo (Spain), William Hayter (USA), Alejandro Loveira (USA), Eric Man (Hong Kong), Eduardo Molero Illán (Spain), Ramón Moreno Monteagudo (Spain), Peter Nÿssen (Netherlands), Lucia Otaegui Guridi (Spain), Harmen Reygoudt (Belgium), Roberto Rodriguez Perales (Spain), Igor Urruchi Salas (Spain), Mutsumi Watanabe (Japan), Holger Werner (Germany), Matt Wurtzel (USA). This performance was conducted by Dutch bass clarinet activist Henri Bok who is participating as guest artist and master teacher. After the concert, Henri wrote to say, "The audience, the course/concert organizers, the 10 performers and the conductor LOVED your piece. In my opinion it was maybe the most amazing work of the whole concert...." Many thanks to Henri for asking me to compose this music.
